Returning to the hotel in the evening to find the bar closed at 8:00 pm. A resourceful staff member retrieved the situation using his own initiative.

The staff is welcoming. The breakfast is fine. Despite the room (single) was very tricky, because of the cheap price it does the job.

English on very bad level. everyone in this town speaks only German. it was like a German city. very high pet cost. we had to pay 5000 huf per night for a dog!!! it’s twice as much as in Budapest. in Eger we didn’t have to pay at all.

Breakfast was good and parking is good. But the property needs a kind of a renovation

An old "soviet " style

Very good localization of the hotel - next to the bus station, thermal lake and some nice cafés. The lady at the reception desk was very helpful and friendly. Tasty breakfast and supper with traditional hungarian cuisine. I have spoken with the personnel using my broken hungarian (thank you for patience!), but as I noticed there was no problem with communication in russian or german. I will surely come back.

Yes, probably the furniture and the decorations could be more modern, but for the money that I paid I consider it absolutely ok - moreover, thanks to it the whole building has a specific, old-style climate. If you are going to such place and for such price you should be aware it's not a residence, but a regular hotel. For me - quite fair deal.

The location is excellent, the terrace amazing and the value for the paid price very good. I was very positively surprised by the breakfast as well (and the staff serving the breakfast was very kind, too). Wi-fi was ok, the equipment of the room was older but working. Check-out was efficient (check-in could be better organized/prepared).

The only minus points were towels. I found out that a towel was missing in my room, so I decided to ask at the reception (after my return from the nearby spa at about 6 p.m.). There, I got the information that no towels are provided (towels were confirmed on my confirmation by booking.com and I saw towels being distributed in the afternoon - I arrived shortly after 2 p.m.). After accepting that towels shall be provided, I was advised that this issue shall be solved with the housekeeping and not at the reception, however, housekeeping would be available first in the morning. After insisting, I got a small towel. I can understand that it can happen that towels are missing but I expect some standard solution. There is an improvement potential in this point.

This hotel has long history serving the customers and you can see it everywhere. Everything kind of works pretty ok. Room had a nice view from 3rd floor.

The hotel is little bit old style and you can see this everywhere. The elevators are slow, the water comes from faucet with separate cold and warm mixer. The room didn't have AC.

Didn't like the window blinder, yellow color let all the light through. The room was too hot. The breakfast need to be improved to have more options for vegetarians or either those customers who not eating pork!

The hotel is located centrally near the Lake , public transport and amenities. My room was a good size with a balcony and fridge. Buffet breakfasts offered a wide choice and it is possible to have lunch and dinner at the hotel at a reasonable cost. Of course there are plenty of restaurants and cafes in Heviz to suit most tastes. The thermal lake is well worth visiting and I would recommend a day in Keszthely also the museum at nearby Egregy. The parks and gardens are beautiful. I also enjoyed the live music around town every evening.

Great position: 1 minute to entrance Therme. Many restaurants all around the hotel. Parking on payment inside the Hotel. Price is not cheap.
